Nahyan bin Mubarak receives US congressional delegation

ABU DHABI, 4th October, 2022 (WAM) -- Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Cabinet Member and Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, today received a United States congressional delegation representing the Abraham Accords, currently visiting the UAE.
During the meeting, Sheikh Nahyan welcomed the delegation and lauded the deep-rooted strategic relations between the UAE, led by President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the US, noting that their leaderships are keen to enhance their bilateral ties.
The two sides also discussed ways of strengthening their overall cooperation, most notably in areas of tolerance, coexistence and human fraternity, to help promote peace and stability around the world.
Sheikh Nahyan highlighted the UAE’s keenness, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed, to help achieve global peace, stability and prosperity in light of the country’s approach based on promoting tolerance, coexistence and solidarity.
The American delegation highlighted the keenness of the US to enhance its comprehensive cooperation with the UAE, lauding the country’s role in helping achieve global peace and stability.
The UAE-Israel Abraham Accords have supported the international efforts to establish peace, maintain security and ensure stability in the region and the entire world, the delegation added.
