Foreign Minister attends US Embassy celebration of 2nd Abraham Accords anniversary

Manama, Sept. 14 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, participated today in a ceremony held by the Embassy of the United States of America in the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the Abraham Accords.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs delivered a speech in which he lauded the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to promote the values of tolerance, peaceful coexistence and cooperation.
He also expressed thanks to the Ambassador of the US to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Steven Bondy, for hosting the event and for his initiative to plant an olive tree in the embassy to symbolise hope and peace for all people in the Middle East.
Dr. Al-Zayani also affirmed that peace is the only way to reach a just solution for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in a way that guarantees security and stability for all.
