US congressional delegation visits TRENDS

ABU DHABI, 6th October, 2022 (WAM) – A US congressional delegation representing the Abraham Accords visited the TRENDS Research and Advisory in Abu Dhabi and learned about the Center’s role and efforts in promoting peace, coexistence and human fraternity.
The delegation was received at the TRENDS’ Hall of Peace, where Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, welcomed them and explained that the hall was named after the first event hosted in the hall in September 2020 that was on the Abraham Accords and ways to promote peace in the region.
Dr. Al-Ali added that the ‘Hall of Peace’ also reflects the Center’s belief in peace and the need to promote it throughout the region.
The delegation also participated in a panel discussion, which was attended by TRENDS’ heads of sectors and researchers. It discussed the Abraham Accords and their impact on stability and peace in the region.
